The French National Council of Architects publishes on its website www.architectes.org job applications from Ukrainian architects and construction professionals looking for a position in France. You will find below the tutorial explaining how to create a job application :

These job search will be accessible to all visitors on the website who wish to welcome Ukrainian professionals into their structures — architectural agencies, engineers, urban planning and landscape agencies, etc. The initiative is promoted to the Ukrainian diaspora via the national Order of Architects of Ukraine and France. A homepage for Ukrainian architects has been published on the English version of the website. It contains a tutorial explaining how to create a job application.

In order to respond to the country's immense reconstruction needs in the future, the French Order of Architects also wishes to facilitate the admission of Ukrainian students in French schools of architecture.

All initiatives are relayed on a Facebook group Solidarité avec les architectes ukrainiens run by the French Order of Architects. This page will list the profession's chain of solidarity with the Ukrainians. There will be information posted by architects, Regional Councils of the French architects, associations, etc.

Other initiatives :

Job offers/applications
In France, a group led by AFEX, French Architects Overseas, and the Association AMO has developed a platform to put in touch Ukrainian professionals displaced from their country or in the process of being displaced with French companies willing to offer them a job. This database will be accessible to agencies that have submitted a job offer.

Visa / residence permit
An agreement between the European Union's interior ministries has enabled the rapid activation of a temporary protection scheme for refugees from Ukraine.
For information, Ukrainians holding a biometric passport do not need a visa to travel to France and the Schengen countries. They can obtain a residence permit and a work permit by contacting the “préfecture” (regional administrative headquarter) of their departement (region) of arrival.

Accommodation
Architects who offer to host Ukrainian colleagues or their families should contact their local “mairie” (Town Hall) to make an accommodation proposal. The information is forwarded to the “préfecture” which is responsible for centralising the proposals. Offers of accommodation can also be posted on the Facebook group.

ACE
On a continental scale, the Architects' Council of Europe (ACE) will, in the next few days, create a platform to centralise all the initiatives taken by its European members in favour of Ukraine.
